Alipurduar also known as the gateway to Bhutan is one of the most populated cities of the Dooars region. The city is an independent district that is popular among travellers for its scenic beauty and lush greenery along with offering the best view of the valley of Bhutan and Buxa hills. Alipurduar is also known to be one of the largest shelters for tigers in Dooars.
