Tsomgo Lake

Tsomgo Lake is the most visited tourist site in Sikkim and is the most recommended tourist place in Sikkim. Located at a distance of 38 km from the city of Gangtok the glacial lake is locally known as Changu Lake and is famous for offering spectacular landscapes of Sikkim with dense alpine forests and snow-capped mountains. The lake during winters remains frozen which reflects turquoise colors during sunshine. Along with the natural beauty, the lake is also famous for its activities including yak rides, ropeway and short treks.
