Trongsa

Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, Trongsa is mostly known for being the home to the largest Dzong of Bhutan, Trongsa Dzong. The monastery is built with a red roof and whitewashed gigantic walls situated at the top of the valley. Trongsa is among the isolated and lesser-known places of Bhutan that has a wide range of sightseeing options and is an ideal destination to relax in your leisure time. The place also includes local shops that sell decorated pots and handicraft items.
