Gorubathan

Gorubathan is one of the most popular offbeat destinations of Dooars located in the Kalimpong District which is locally known as Sombare. The city is situated on the bank of Neora and Chel River and offers beautiful views of the lush green mountains, tea gardens and hilly alpine forests. Gorubathan is also popular for Dalim Fort, a fort made by the Lepcha Kings of Bhutan in the early 19th century.
